Sand-blasted

Our sand-blasted signs are fabricated from a variety of substrates.  More commonly redwood, cedar or HDU foam board.  High-Density Urethane (HDU) is used more frequently for blasting (and carving) because of it's longevity, durability and repairability; plus HDU will not warp or crack like redwood or cedar and it is resistant to rotting.

Because of the increasing rarity of redwood and cedar, A Wild Sign Company reserves the right to use natural wood when we can showcase it's natural beauty by staining or clear coating the blasted surface, rather than painting, to show off the wonderful shades and grain of the wood.
